Boomer aka EB Hawks of Artful Pursuits is a contemporary mixed media artist and graphic designer. Her distinctive layered artworks integrate collage, paint, and embroidery. Multi-dimensional cityscapes, landscapes, songbirds, whimsical florals, and portraits are brought to life with joyful boldness, vibrant colors, rich textures, and signature markings.
Hawks is a third-generation artist. Although a native of Texas, as a military spouse, her work often pays homage to the many places her nomadic family has lived. She has been featured by the Military Spouse Fine Artist Network (MilSpoFAN) multiple times and recently was honored with the opportunity to serve as a MilSpoFAN board member. She blogs about her exploits as a mixed media artist, graphic and web designer, art journaler, DIYer, card maker, crafty-momma artful life.
