Nadia Colburn is the author of the poetry book The High Shelf (2019) and I Say the Sky (2023). Her poetry and prose have appeared in The New Yorker, Kenyon Review, LARB, APR, Harvard Review, Spirituality and Health, Lion’s Roar, Yale Review, Conjunctions, American Scholar, slate, and elsewhere. She holds a PhD in English from Columbia University, and a BA from Harvard, is a registered yoga teacher, a student of Thich Nhat Hanh, has taught literature at MIT, and is a writer-in-residence at Northeastern University's Center for Spirituality. Nadia is also the founder of Align Your Story Writing School, which brings together traditional literary and creative writing studies with mindfulness, embodied practices, and social and environmental engagement, and where she has taught thousands of women to step into their authentic voice. She lives in Cambridge, MA with her husband and two children. Find her here.
